Mitch Garfinkel, Owner/Director
Mitch fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning and directing a children's summer camp when he purchased Lindenmere in 2006. Born and raised in Jericho, NY, Mitch graduated SUNY Albany before becoming an attorney. While practicing law and owning several restaurants has been a great experience, summer camp is Mitch’s true passion. His camping experience has taken him through the ranks of camper, CIT, Counselor, Color War General, Group Leader and now Camp Director. When not at camp, Mitch can be found teaching and coaching throughout the Recreation League programs in South Florida. Mitch currently lives in Boca Raton, FL with his three children, Hayley, Lynsey and Kyle.

As a camper, counselor, division leader, program director, associate director and director at prestigious camps in both New York and Maine, Charles brings a tremendous amount of passion, enthusiasm and warmth to camp. He spends each day during the summer ensuring that every camper is having fun and that each camper’s needs and each parent’s expectations are being met. Charles is fully committed to providing each Lindenmere camper with an incredible summer experience.
Charles’ many off season responsibilities include meeting with new camp families and organizing our staff hiring program. Craig Odiorne, Director
Craig, also known as Odie, has been involved in camps throughout most of his life. He has spent most of his summers at fine camps in Maine and Pennsylvania as a camper, counselor and head counselor. Odie works full time in our Florida office and is involved in all aspects of camp including purchasing, programming, recruiting and facility improvements. During the summer, Odie supervises our daily program ensuring that each program area is well equipped, safe and that campers are having fun and learning new skills. Odie’s passion and enthusiasm for both life and camp make him a favorite amongst our campers. Odie also heads up our Conference and Retreat Center which rents out the camp in the off season to football camps, band camps, running groups and corporate events.
Odie likes the outdoors and sports, but enjoys spending time with and working with people. He now lives in South Florida with his wife Monica. They met at camp and she returns each year as the head of the tennis program.
Dani Greenwald, Assistant Director
Dani joined our camp family with a wealth of day and resident camp experience. She graduated from college with an early childhood degree and taught preschool for several years. Her love of camp brought her back to work for the American Camp Association. She traveled from camp to camp in the summer which allowed her to help families choose the right camp for their children.
Dani's spirit and love for children is contagious. She enjoys the camaraderie of camp, and campers love her warmth and nurturing manner. During the off season, Dani assists in creating new programs and recruiting new families. Dani and her husband Doug live in New Jersey with their two happy campers Bari and Harrison. |
