Steve has spent five years at Lindenmere and is so excited to be back for year number six under the Lindenmere Big Top. Steve brings maturity and enthusiasm to our circus program. He has worked in multiple Club Med resorts both performing and instructing Flying Trapeze for over eight years, including managing a Club Med program for five years. Steve currently spends his winters working for the National Institute of Circus Arts planning, managing and implementing programs.

Val has been working in the circus arts for the past six years specializing in flying trapeze. Her experience includes working at Le Studio Circus School in Santa Monica, Trapeze School New York in Santa Monica and Trapeze School New York in Massachusetts. Val is sure to bring high energy and enthusiasm to our program once again this year like she did last year!

Pip has worked on multiple flying trapeze rigs across the world teaching trapeze for several years, including working at Lindenmere in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Pip’s experience with flying trapeze and circus arts also includes helping to run the circus program at another fine Northeast camp in the past. Pip has also worked at Club Med resorts, The Australian Recreational Centre for Aerial Arts and Circus Arts Australia. Pip is a high school teacher in the winter. Welcome back to Lindenmere!

Teresa has spent her career dancing professionally and has worked at elite level gymnastic and circus camps. She was the lead performer for Cirque Du Soleil’s “Saltimbanco” and has also worked as an aerial soloist and specialist on tour. Welcome back for year number three, Teresa!

Quebec, Canada

Caroline is excited to be back at Lindenmere for her fourth summer. Caroline is a graduate of the University of Montreal where she studied Elementary Education and is currently teaching in Canada and loves it! She has spent the past 13 years working at a Circus school teaching static trapeze, acrobatics and aerial arts to both beginners and advanced students.

Dix Hills, Long Island

Having spent three summers as a camper and LT at Lindenmere, we know that Jeff cannot wait to join our circus staff! Jeff spent most of last summer at the flying trapeze rig where he learned how to work the board, pull lines and worked with campers on a few tricks. His willingness to learn and his desire to be a team player will ensure that Jeff excels in both the bunk and at the flying trapezes.

Merrick, Long Island

After spending nine summers as a camper and LT at Lindenmere, we are thrilled to welcome her to our circus staff! Nicole spent most of her camper days perfecting routines on silks, triple trapeze and lyra. She also spent most of her LT days training to be a circus staff member. Nicole’s energy, enthusiasm and Lindenmere spirit always make everyone around her smile.

Caroline comes to us with a terrific background in dance, gymnastics and aerial arts. Caroline focuses most of her time on silks and static trapeze and cannot wait to check out our circus pavilion! When not studying and practicing circus skills, Caroline enjoys traveling and has traveled quite a bit this past year all over the world. Caroline is eager to learn, eager to teach and her bubbly personality is a great fit for our circus program.

Peru, Indiana

Cam comes from one of the greatest circus performer families of all time dating back to his great grandfather. Cam is a student at IUPUI where he is majoring in exercise science with a focus on physical therapy. He has performed in the Peru Amateur Circus for the past fifteen years and has specialized in flying trapeze for the past ten years. Having gone to camp as a child himself, Cam is excited to return to camp as a staff member and instruct on the flying trapeze!

Orlando, Florida

Nicole comes to Lindenmere highly recommended by one of the top circus companies in the country. Nicole has spent the past two years working for Cirque USA specializing in silks and static trapeze. She has also taught silks to children over the same period. Nicole’s friendly, warm and high energy personality is a welcome addition to Lindenmere.

Victoria, Australia

Jennie works with our Head of Circus, Steve Nevison during the winter teaching circus in Australia. A lawyer by trade, Jennie is taking a sabbatical from work to follow her true passion- circus arts! Jennie has spent the past six months working at Club Med in Bali teaching flying trapeze, lyra and static trapeze. Her fun and friendly demeanor make her an incredible asset to the Lindenmere circus program!

JL is currently studying to become a teacher. He has a fantastic background of teaching, coaching and performing circus arts over the past few years. As a university student, JL has run an after school circus program. JL is a terrific juggler and also has skills on the flying trapeze. He has tremendous passion for both children and circus. We are lucky to have JL’s eight years of circus experience at Lindenmere!

New South Wales, Australia

Karly also joins us from Australia where she works in the winter with Steve teaching circus. Karly has a diverse background in circus with experience teaching flying trapeze, lyra, silks/tissue, single trapeze and double trapeze. She is a certified gymnastics coach as well and has coached children for many years. Karly is also a Club Med veteran and is an excellent juggler.

Cornwall, United Kingdom

Natalie comes to us after spending a summer at another fine northeastern summer camp where she ran the gymnastics department. Her skills in both gymnastics and aerial arts make her a perfect fit for our program. Natalie teaches gymnastics all year long and we look forward to her spending her first summer at Lindenmere!

Emma is currently a performing student at Trix Circus where she specializes in silks, lyra and static trapeze. When not performing herself, Emma coaches acrobatics at Showbiz Express Circus and Dance School. Emma’s varied background is sure to be a hit with our campers!
