Sara can’t wait to get to camp to take part in her third summer at Lindenmere, and again she will be the Head of our Explorer Department, planning wacky and fun experiments for our campers. Sara currently teaches environmental science to middle school students and looks forward to applying her classroom skills to our camp atmosphere. Sara is full of energy and enthusiasm and is excited to help make our campers have the best experience of their lives! Welcome back, Sara! We are glad you’re here!
Carlos joins us at Lindenmere for the second time this summer, where he will be working with our outdoor enthusiasts in our Survivor and Eco/ID program. Carlos is an expert outdoorsman, with years of experience in the Boy Scouts, with whom he went camping once a month. He has hiked parts of the Appalachian trail, including Mount Katahdin and he also goes on a canoeing trip every year, along the Delaware River. Carlos is a recent graduate of Columbia University, with plans to become a physician. Our campers are in great hands with Carlos and we are excited to welcome him back
to camp this year!
This is Melissa’s first summer here at Lindenmere and we are happy to be welcoming her to our Explorer program as a rocketry counselor – a new major this summer! During the year, Melissa works for a company called Street Science, where she does science presentations for children aged 6-10 at birthday parties and school visits. Melissa is super energetic with an engaging personality which is sure to capture our campers’ attention and delight. She is also currently studying entertainment management at the JMC Academy College in Australia. Welcome to camp!
