Staff Profiles: Horseback Riding


Josie Weston


Nelson, New Zealand
This is Josie’s third summer at Lindenmere and we are so happy to have her back at our stables! Josie is a skilled horseback rider, who has grown up around horses. She loves to ride and also care for our horses. She looks forward to working with our staff and campers and share her passion with everyone who comes out for a ride! So happy to have you back at camp, Josie!

Alice Reet

Lincolnshire, UK
Alice is joining Camp Lindenmere as one of our horseback riding instructors. Alice grew up around horses and has been riding for as long as she can remember. When she is home, she has four horses that she cares for and she is extremely comfortable teaching campers how to properly ride, as well as how to care for the animals. Warm, friendly and full of energy, Alice will be a great addition to camp and to girls’ side. Welcome to camp!


Tiana Fellman

Stroudsburg, PA
Tiana is eager to be joining Camp Lindenmere for her very first summer. Tiana has been riding for eleven years and can’t wait to spend her summer out at the stables. During the school year, Tiana studies international relations at the University of Americas Puebla in San Andres, Mexico. With her positive attitude and camp spirit, Tiana will be a great addition to our staff. Welcome to camp!


Lili Vachon

Lancaster, UK
This is Lili’s first summer at Camp Lindenmere and she is going to be one of our horseback riding instructors. Lili has been riding horses for years and looks forward to spending the summer sharing this joy with our campers. In addition to riding, Lili has developed an appreciation for stable management and the day-to-day requirements. During the school year, Lili studies primary education at the University of Cumbria, and hopes to become a teacher. Welcome to camp, Lili! We are glad you are here!

Lily Tucker

Liverpool, UK
Lily joins us at camp for her very first summer and is one of our horseback riding instructors. She has been riding since she was five years old and after seven years of riding, she finally got her first horse. Together, Lily and her horse have competed in jumping classes, hacking and cross country. Riding is her one true passion and she absolutely can’t wait to share that love with our campers.  Lily currently studies English and creative writing at John Moores University in Liverpool, England. We are super excited to have Lily here at camp. Welcome!

Hayley Mardell

Winchester, UK
Hayley is excited to be joining us at camp for the first time, as one of our horseback riding instructors. Hayley is passionate about horses and all riding styles and look forward to teaching our campers about both riding and the caring of horses. Hayley herself has 11 years of experience riding and competing. She has also previously worked at a horse riding day camp, teaching kids of all ages a number of different techniques, while improving their confidence. We are so happy to welcome you to camp, Hayley!

Vanessa Fellman

Stroudsburg, PA
This is Vanessa’s first summer at Lindenmere and she joins our team as a horseback riding counselor. Vanessa has extensive experience in riding, as she has been grooming and caring for horses for 12 years as well as riding and jumping. During the school year, Vanessa studies Nursing at Universidad de las Americas Puebla (UDLAP). Welcome to camp, Vanessa, we are happy to have you here!
